Profile on Raisibe Ntozakhe
Raisibe is a talented young 14 year old spin bowler who has clearly made her presence known in Girls Cricket. She was born on 29 November 1996 and hails from Alexandra. She started playing cricket at the with the boys’ teams at Alexandra Cricket Club at a young age. It was during last year that she came to the fore at girls’ level with outstanding bowling performances at the Girls` U16 festival in Namibia. This tournament was the start of something special for Raisibe and she received 3 ‘lady of the match’ awards as well as the best bowler of the tournament and was appointed as the player of the tournament. She took 18 wickets at average of 1.5. Upon her return from this tournament, she was included in the Gauteng provincial team where she shone with good bowling performances. She again wowed critics in the semi-final match between Gauteng and Kwazulu Natal, where she showed figures of 10-4-11-1 against some leading SA batsmen in the opposition side. Thereafter Raisibe was invited to bowl to the SA squad in a training camp at the HPC and also attended the SA camp in Potchefstroom for 4 days. Raisibe is a shining young star from whom a lot can be expected of in the near future.

Profile on Cri-Zelda Brits
Cri-Zelda Brits’s journey began when she was an 11-year-old playing in boys' teams, and by the time she was 14 she was the wicket keeper for the SA Under-21s against England. She was first selected for the national women’s side in 2002. She is also captain of the Gauteng Women’s team for the last 3 seasons. Cri-Zelda completed her rapid rise to the top of women's cricket in South Africa when she was named as stand-in captain for the injured Shandré Fritz for the 2007 one-day series at home against Pakistan. She led the side to a 4-0 series win and contributed from the front, scoring two fifties. She followed this by captaining the side to a 3-0 series whitewash against the Netherlands as well as winning the first ever Test Match between the two sides by 159 runs, following a bold declaration in their second innings.
