Tshenolo Tlaeli starred with the ball as Free State claimed a surprise win over Gauteng on the fourth and penultimate day of the Momentum Under-13 Week in Oudtshoorn on Friday.
The Free Staters won by four wickets after bowling out their opponents for 106 in 37.4 overs, before chasing down the target with a little under 10 overs to spare.
Tlaeli led the way with the ball by taking 4/15 in 7.4 overs, two of which were maidens, while there were also two wickets each for Armand Viljoen (2/9) and Wendell Plaaitjies (2/11).
Sello Sesing top-scored with 33 to guide his side home at the Outeniqua High School A.
Western Province, meanwhile, made it four wins from four when they ousted Northerns by 31 runs in the big-match of the day at the Recreation Ground.

Finally, a brilliant display by Tendekai Mataranyika led Zimbabwe to an eight-wicket Duckworth-Lewis-Stern win over Limpopo.
