Gauteng Cricket Academy 2011 The Gauteng Cricket Academy kicked off in June 2011. The focus of the academy is to empower the young cricketers and develop them into professional cricketers, and to produce cricketers for the Strikers and Highveld Lions. It is an opportunity for up and coming cricketers to work on theirs techniques, fitness and life skills. The academy runs for a period of three months which takes them straight into pre-season with their respective teams. It is held at the Bidvest Wanderers stadium. The academy is run by the High Performance Coach, Enoch Nkwe.
